~1984

1979/(54) July

Iwaki Electric Corporation Technology Division 2 was separated and independent, and Kodensha was founded.
Convinced of the future of business using personal computers, he founded Kodensha. Engaged in computer software development and hardware sales.

1980 (Showa 55) July

Established Kodensha Computer Academy and started computer education.

1981/(56) August

Developed and released Japan's first Japanese word processor, the Japanese word processor "WORD3000" for the PC-8000.
