Japan
- On October 1, 1998, the "Japanese-Korean Translation System j-Seoul/JK" received the Excellent Information Processing System Award from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry's Informatization Month Promotion Conference.
- Received a research and development grant from the Telecommunications Advancement Organization of Japan (TAO) of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications for a Japanese-Korean translation system for TV subtitle broadcasting.
- The "Japanese-Korean Translation Program" was selected as an Excellent Product for Popularization in fiscal year 2000.
- On December 22, 2005, "J-SERVER Pocket" received the Jury's Special Award (Seiko Ito Award) at the i-mode Site Awards 2005.
- On June 26, 2008, "J-SERVER Pocket" received the 3rd Nagao Award from the Asia-Pacific Association for Machine Translation (AAMT).

History
-1984
Separated the Technical Department 2 of Iwaki Electrical Construction Co., Ltd. to establish Kodensha.
Convinced of the future potential of personal computers in business, Kodensha was founded. Engaged in PC software development and hardware sales.
Established Kodensha PC Academy and began computer education.
Developed and released "WORD3000," a Japanese word processor for the PC-8000, the first of its kind in Japan.
Developed and released "Hangul 4300," a Korean word processor for the PC-8000.
Developed and released "WORD9000," an English word processor for the PC-8000.
Incorporated the organization and established Kodensha Co., Ltd.
Established the Tokyo branch.
Formed a software technology partnership with Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.

HTC adopted "Jisho Walker English" for Windows Mobile as built-in software for its Touch Diamond and Touch Pro series.
Launched the "Chinese Proficiency Test Past Questions WEB" service, which faithfully reproduces past questions from the Chinese Proficiency Test.
